150 Physiotherapy students at Robert Gorden University in Aberdeen are undertaking a mammoth 874 mile cycle ride – the distance from John O’Groats to Lands’ End!

The inaugural Charity Awards Dinner, in aid of The Mullany Fund, will take place in The Village Hotel on 24th October at 7.00pm.

On the 18th September 2009 , a team of six will be cycling a 53 mile course, which tours the valleys of Camarthenshire taking in some of South Wales’ finest countryside and coastal views starting and ending in Llanelli.
The Gordon Stokoe Memorial Trust has orgnised this cycle ride with a number of teams cycling for their nominated charities.

The Mullany Fund will be doing a bucket collection at Fera Fest Music Festival from 3pm on Saturday 4th July 2009.
Fera Fest is, to quote the organisers, “is a big-ass music and general entertainment festival in July organised by the residents, for the residents and anyone else who wants to join in with the merry-ment!”

Michael Meredith, Ben’s uncle, and his good friend Terry Maloney will walk Offas Dyke. It is a 176 mile walk, which will start at Chepstow and finish at Prestatyn. When they have finished the walk they will then cycle back to Morriston hospital. (more…)
