eBay Shop Opens for Fund
The Mullany Fund has opened a shop on the internet auction website eBay and is appealing for people to consider helping the charity continue its growth into a major new educational charity in one of three ways.
A Mullany Fund spokesperson explained “It is possible to help the charity in one of three ways on eBay.
“Firstly, you can buy an item from The Mullany Fund eBay Charity Shop“
“Secondly you can sell an item on eBay and donate a proportion of the final selling price to The Mullany Fund. For more information on this, please take a look at the eBay for Charity website.”
“Thirdly you can donate an item to be auctioned on behalf of the charity. Please email info@themullanyfund.org if you would like to do this.”
To get the eBay fundraising initiative started, the charity has started to sell its distinctive sapphire blue t-shirts on the site.
A spokesperson for the fund said: “I think it’s quite an unusual thing to do. It’s an incentive for people to do some spring cleaning whilst helping to establish a new educational charity. We may keep a league table of the most unusual things auctioned for The Mullany Fund!”

The Mullany Fund is an educational charity that supports UK schools of medicine and physiotherapy. It was set up in memory of Cath and Ben Mullany. So far over £35,000 has been raised.

"Ben and Catherine leave behind a legacy. They hit the hearts of the nation and the world with such an extraordinary love story."
"I am honoured to support The Mullany Fund, set up to help train new doctors and physiotherapists and keep the dreams of Cath and Ben alive."
