Hat-trick of Events For The Mullany Fund
The Mullany Fund, an educational charity helping trainee physios and medics is hoping to get a big push courtesy of a sportfilled 48 hours.
Three fund-raising events take place at the weekend to raise cash for the Mullany Fund—the cause set up in memory of Ben and Catherine Mullany.
It kicks off on Saturday when a reunited Cwmtawe Comprehensive School rugby team take on Division Four West outfit Cwmgors.
The following day friends and family of trainee physio Ben and his doctor wife Cath, who were shot on their honeymoon last year, are to take part in a sponsored 10k stroll along Swansea Bay.
The hat-trick of events is completed on Sunday when UWE university students take on the Bath Half Marathon.
A spokesman for the charity said: “Ben and Catherine’s values and ambitions will serve as inspiration to others who wish to follow in their footsteps.”

"Ben and Catherine leave behind a legacy. They hit the hearts of the nation and the world with such an extraordinary love story."
"I am honoured to support The Mullany Fund, set up to help train new doctors and physiotherapists and keep the dreams of Cath and Ben alive."
